Daily Devotional

Luke 18:9-14 | Read in NIV YouVersion

We are continuing our series entitled "Body Language: Building One Another up in the Body of Christ." This week's message will focus on the language of confession.

Pause for Reflection:

The tax collector had nothing to offer except the truth. When he asks for mercy, Jesus says he goes home justified. Contrast that with the pharisee, and you can see what a value the Lord puts on confession and being honest with oneself.

Have there been palces you have tried to make your sin more palatable by comparing it to other people's sin? What does the Lord say about that?

Continue examining your heart this week and allow the Lord to speak anywhere He has something to say.

Pray for the Welcome Team of Living Faith.
