Hebrews 7-8 | Read in NIV YouVersion

This Sunday's message will be focused on the beautiful truths we can find in God's design of the Tabernacle of Moses, which He gave to the Israelites after they came out of Egypt. This week's study will lead to the significance of the Ark, Mercy Seat, and Veil, and will highlight the complete access we have to God through Jesus.

Today's passage will speak of Melchizadek, King of Salem, an Old Testamanet priest who scholars believe refers to Jesus. You can find the account of his interactions with Abram in Genesis 14. He is mentioned again by David in Psalm 110.

Pause for Reflection:
How does the author of Hebrews use the story of Melchizedek to illustrate the nature of Christ’s priesthood?  In a world filled with temporary things, how does the eternal nature of Jesus' priesthood bring you peace?

Pray for the welcome ministry team of Living Faith. Pray that the Lord will inspire them to create welcoming environments for everyone who walks onto our campus.

Pray for our Woodland Crossing area businesses. Pray that life-giving businesses will prosper in our neighborhood and provide citizens what they need to thrive.
