Exodus 18-20 | Read in NIV YouVersion

This coming Sunday's message will be focused on the beautiful truths we can find in God's design of the Tabernacle of Moses, which He gave to the Israelites after they came out of Egypt. This week's study will lead to the significance of the altar and laver, which ultimately points to the grace Jesus provided for us on the cross to be able to enter into God's presence.

Pause for Reflection: In a modern context, what might "making gods of silver or gold" look like, and how can we avoid this? Why do you think God insisted on not having an altar built with stones shaped by tools?  What does the instruction for building an altar tell us about God's desire for sincerity in worship? 

Pray for the men of Living Faith. Pray for the protection of their bodies, minds, and hearts. 

Pray for homeless persons of Elkhart County. Pray that God will direct them out of hopeless situations into environments of stability and provision.
