Psalm 118 | Read in NIV YouVersion

This week, we begin preparing our hearts for Easter as we study the steps Jesus took towards Jerusalem and the cross. Today's passage highlights one of the prophetic words in the Old Testament Jesus' sacrifice would fulfill.

Pause for Reflection:
Think about a time when you felt surrounded by challenges. How does the Psalmist's reaction inspire you? Meditate on the concept of "gates of righteousness." What do they symbolize for you?  How might the notion of the rejected stone becoming the cornerstone be interpreted in today's context? 

Pray for the Living Faith Pantry and the Easter Outreach this week. Pray that those in our neighborhood who have not yet discovered the pantry and need financial assistance will be drawn to come to the Pantry this Easter season.

Pray for area food banks to not grow weary in their important work.
