Pause for Reflection:
Why does Paul emphasize the conflict between the flesh and the Spirit? What is the role of the Holy Spirit in helping us to resist the works of the flesh? Today would be a good day to take out a journal and ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind any personal "flesh" habits of thoughts that you are battling. Jot them down and pray over them, asking Him to go deeper in His ministry in your life to root them out.

Pray for the finances of Living Faith. Pray that those who call Living Faith home will be faithful in generosity as the voice of God leads them.

Pray for the local economy, as there are many struggling right now. Pray that opportunities for good employment would abound in our community.
