Psalm 13 | Read in NIV YouVersion

We are continuing our series entitled "Body Language: Building One Another up in the Body of Christ." This week, we will focus on the language of prayer.

Pause for Reflection:

One of the hallmarks of David's prayers (recorded as psalms) is his complete honesty with the Lord. How honest do you allow your prayers to be? If you're not sure, ask the Lord His opinion on it. He knows the deepest parts of you, so He knows the answer to that question. If you are not being 100% honest with the Lord in your prayer life, it may help to begin to journal them daily for at least 10 minutes without "editing" what comes to your mind. If that scares you for any reason, spend some time before the Lord about it. This may be an area you need to allow Him to work.
