Hebrews 4:1-13  | Read in NIV YouVersion

This Sunday, we will be starting a new series entitled "Here I Am," where we will look at all the times these powerful words are spoken by humans throughout Scripture. For this first week, we'll look at a time these words should have been spoken, but were not: when Adam and Eve hid in the garden.

Pause for Reflection:

What is the correlation between rest and being seen by God? What is the correlation between the Word and being seen by God?

If we are desiring to "hide" from God, we may try to use business as a shield. We may also lack a desire to be in the Word of God. These behaviors may feel effective in the short run, but can do great damage in the long run.

Meditate on this verse today and see if God wants to speak anything to you:
"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." - Psalm 119:11

Pray for our youth mission team today. Pray that they will be refreshed by the Spirit of God in any weary places.
