We are continuing our series entitled "Body Language: Building One Another up in the Body of Christ." This week, we will focus on the importance of being quick to listen.

Pause for Reflection:

It seems from these passages that Job's friends ministered best when they were silent. The ministry of presence is one of comfort and involves a great deal of listening instead of talking. Can you think of a time when someone's ministry of presence ministered to you in a powerful way?

Ask the Lord today to help you be sensitive to those who may just need your presence. It actually opens doors of ministry when we recognize we don't have to have all the answers, often just being there and loving someone is enough to bring the relief that is needed for them to receive from God himself.
