Ephesians 6:15-16  | Read in NIV YouVersion

This Sunday's message will focus on putting on the armor of God to be ready for battling whatever the enemy sends your way.

Pause for Reflection:
Reflect on these pieces of armor by studying these Scriptures for each.

Feet Fitted with the Gospel of Peace 

• Romans 10:15- "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace!"
• Isaiah 52:7- "How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace..."

Shield of Faith

• Psalm 18:30- "This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him."
• Proverbs 30:5- "Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him."
• Psalm 3:3- "But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head."
• Genesis 15:1- "After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”"
• 1 John 5:4: "For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."

If you have not studied the armor of God before, this article is a great place to start in order to look at the significance of each piece.

Pray for the physical health of Living Faith church members. Pray for specific people as the Lord brings them to mind.
