Pause for Reflection:
How do these verses challenge the common worldly notions of merit and achievement? Are there any "works" you have been leaning on for self-worth or to curry favor with God? Is He asking you to do anything different right now, or to see something in a new way? If you are not sure, take time to ask Him and listen for His response.

Pray for the men of Living Faith. Close your eyes and allow the Lord to bring specific faces to mind. Pray as He leads for those people.

Pray for local homeless ministries.
