This Sunday, we will be starting a new series entitled "Here I Am," where we will look at all the times these powerful words are spoken by humans throughout Scripture. For this first week, we'll look at a time these words should have been spoken, but were not: when Adam and Eve hid in the garden.

Pause for Reflection:

This passage chronicles the tragedy of sin, the heartbreaking reality that it breaks a human's communion with God. Spend some time with your journal today and ask the Lord if there is any place your communion with Him is interrupted right now. Is there any sin that needs to be repented of in your life? You don't have to keep going the same way you are right now. You can repent and see your communion with the Father restored. All it takes is a moment of saying, "Here I am, Lord. I surrender to You."
